Maybe a huge thunderstorm, maybe a supercell?

Yes, it was just one of about 30 such supercells in the Iowa-Minnesota border last night. This one in particular had a history of tornadic activity, but I was well over 100 miles away from this one. I did, however, get to experience some amazing 75 mph straightline winds, hail and 3"-per-hour rain later that night, catching me by surprise while traveling home on the interstate. It was pretty intense. :D
